How are we doing yogis?

 

We understand life at the minute can be stressful and worrying. Here at at1.SPACE we want to make sure you feel as calm as possible given the circumstances.

 

We have created a mindful morning routine to help you begin your morning in the best way, setting you up for the day ahead. Having this calm start will help you stay focused and energized throughout the day.

 

Start your mindful morning routine the night before

Getting a full 8 hours sleep has endless benefits for the mind, as does staying off technology at least 30 minutes before you plan to go to sleep. Reading a book relaxes your brain, setting yourself up for a good nights sleep.

 

Gratitude

When you wake up, take a few minutes to sit and think about what you are grateful for. You could write them down so you can refer back to them during the day, or simply think of them and keep them in your head. Thinking about what you are grateful for daily has many benefits, including boosting self-esteem and maintaining a positive mental attitude.

 

Resist technology

Waking up and reaching for your phone straight away is a natural instinct, but staying off social media in the morning will help keep your mind clear. 

 

Hydrate

Hydrating your body when you wake up with a big glass of water will leave you feeling more alert and awake, as well as fuelling and rehydrating your body from the night before.

Our 7AM at1.INVIGORATOR classes with Yassi will leave you feeling positive. Designed specifically to invigorate you and prepare you for the day ahead, expect a lively, uplifting session incorporating hatha, vinyasa and pranayama, using the breath and core to stabilise poses.

Healthy breakfast

A healthy breakfast gives your body the fuel and energy it needs to carry you through the morning. Fresh fruit, yoghurt and granola, scrambled eggs or porridge are a few ideas that will keep you full through to lunchtime, but aren’t heavy enough to cause discomfort. 

 

Following these simple tips to start the day will leave you feeling fresh and ready to tackle anything.
